Have you ever wondered what it feels like to breath underwater?
Not sure if you would like it? Then why not try a scuba dive in a swimming pool with a qualified PADI instructor.

 

Discover Scuba - What is it?
Discover Scuba is just that, discovering scuba diving! You need to be over 10 years of age. On your introductory Try-Dive will be introduced to some safety information and then you can experience supervised scuba in our swimming pool. This involves some skills practice and then the thrill of gliding weightless through the water. You will also need to complete some paperwork including a medical questionnaire.

 

How long does this take and how much will it cost?
You should allow around 2 to 3 hours for this program. You will also have to complete some paperwork including a medical questionnaire. (Click here to view) The initial training session will cost 60 euros but any subsequent repeat pool sessions will cost 50 euros. This price includes all the equipment hire, air fills and use of the swimming pool. All you need to bring along is your swim suit, towel and possibly a T shirt for the pool if you do not want to wear a wetsuit.

 

Discover Scuba Diving
If you enjoyed the Discover Scuba introductory Try-Dive experience then why not extend your experience and take the Discover Scuba Diving program. 

 

What is it?
You begn your 2 dive adventure in the safe environment of our swimming pool, where your instructor
taught you the fundamental skills of scuba diving. Once you have mastered these skills and you feel comfortable underwater you can then do an additional shallow water dive in a secluded sea cove under direct supervision of a PADI instructor. Imagine being able to to dive with fish and see the underwater plant life and corals. Unfortunately, the Spanish Authorities do not allow anyone under 16 years of age to participate in this program.

 

How long does this take and how much will it cost?
You should allow around a full day for this program. The initial pool training session will cost 60 euros and the sea dive will cost an additional 50 euros and any subsequent repeat sea dives will cost 60 euros. This price includes all the equipment hire, air fills,use of the swimming pool and transfers to the sea. All you need to bring along is your swim suit, towel and possibly a T shirt for the pool if you do not want to wear a wetsuit.

 

Is this a dive qualification?
No. You can undertake additional dives but it must be with a PADI dive professional. This program can in certain circumstances count as a credit on a formal PADI dive course.
