What is eLearning?
Learning to scuba dive requires both knowledge development and water based diving skills under the supervision of a PADI diving instructor. With eLearning you cam master the knowledge development portion of the course by studying online via the internet. This can be accomplished at your own pace and schedule. You have up to a year to complete this section after enrollment. You will develop the remaining diving skills by actually diving with your PADI Instructor.
How does it work?
After enrolling with Scuba4all and paying the elearning fee (see below) you will be given access and sign on details to PADI's eLearning system. This will enable you to connect to an electronic version of the PADI Open Water Diver Manual and access interactive presentations that include videos, audio and graphics. With short quizzes you can assess your progress, and review and correct anything that you might miss. This enables you to progress through the course efficiently and in your own time frame and pace.
What does it cost?
The eLearning theory section of the PADI Open Water Diver Course through Scuba4all is non-refundable and costs 150 euros. The fee covers your knowledge development training and gives you unlimited access to the electronic version of the course textbook and presentations. Your can also contact your instructor if you have any questions. There will also be an additional fee o 300 euros for the confined and open water skills development sections of your course. PADI standards also require that you purchase o Recreational Dive Planner (RDP table or eRDP version) and a diving log book. These can be supplied through Scuba4all.
